A Date with Infamy has held the #1 spot in Alternate History Science Fiction for eight weeks.

I'm genuinely humbled. The Gathering Storm and The Unnecessary War are also performing well, and seeing readers engage with this world, buying the books, leaving reviews, sharing them with others, is exactly why I do this.

I've also made some important decisions about the series going forward:

First, I've hired a full-time editor to work through all the books. Yes, I know they need it. Kevin Lee's feedback alone has been invaluable, and there are more readers like him catching details I missed. Clean versions of A Date with Infamy, The Gathering Storm, and The Unnecessary War will be available on KDP and in print by end of week.

Second, the Pacific War series has expanded to six books instead of five. The timeline remains the same, still converging at El Alamein on July 23, 1942. But as I was working on The Deep Pacific, I realized the manuscript was trying to do too much. Rather than force it, I'm rebalancing the story.

Here's the new structure:

• Book 3: The Deep Pacific (June 26, 2026)
• Book 4: The Angry Giant (December 2026)
• Books 5-6: Gaijin at the Gates and Sunset of Empire (2027)

I'm also spacing the releases to align with the audiobook production schedule. You'll get print versions, then audiobooks will follow as they're produced by Podium Entertainment.
